The What A Flock! team are very excited about the changes that are coming to this blog. The first is the new look and name. The team decided upon simple names that say what we do, who needs more? Plus, it adheres to many of our core concepts including: good planning is key, there is elegance in simplicity and a little effort goes a long way. For now the site address remains CreativeEveryday, but that will be changing shortly. We want you to still find us today and have time to bookmark the new address before everything changes.

Coming in January we have some great ideas for Valentine’s Day. This week we will be previewing a new recurring post called Use What You’ve Got or UWYG. Each month this post will center around creating things from products you already have in your supply room. Almost all crafters will find inspiration and ideas that can be used in your favorite craft product. Most of the items made by the What A FLock! team will be in paper, but you can easily convert the concepts to clay, fabric, painting or other craft styles.

Don’t miss our Valentines themes all month and a special project for you to try. This month our project is called Wild About You and coordinates with the home decor project on our sister site Nest. Using a fun animal print and some red accents you can create some unexpected Valentine’s goodies. All or our projects have a download link for a project sheet you can print and use off-line.
